How It Works

FootageRep works with filmmakers to monetize their footage and we help them do more of what they love most – shooting!

We take your original clips (rushes) exactly as they came out of your camera. We do all of the post-production for you. When you submit to us, you’ll never have to do any editing, color-correcting, other post-production or tedious metadata. See how FootageRep’s post-production is Compared to Traditional Agencies.

We have two plans for filmmakers, and the choice is yours. With our 100 Plan, you will be paid immediately upon acceptance. Or you can choose our 50/50 Plan, which will pay you 50% of all sales received.

Here’s how it works:

• Apply to FootageRep to tell us a bit about yourself, what footage you’d like us to look at and which of our Two Plans you prefer.

• We will take a look at the quality of your work. If we like what we see, we will work with you to monetize your footage. Please note that we need signed model releases and for footage to contain no logos. Read more in our Submission Guidelines.

• You will then be given login info for the Footage Manager™ section of our website.

• You can then easily send your footage through our own Upload System.

• As soon as the footage is accepted, we will pay you immediately by PayPal for the 100 Plan, or when sales are made with the 50/50 Plan.
