Submission Guidelines

All clips need to be filmed with the cameras, equipment and at the specifications that we discussed. After we have reviewed your clips and made you an offer, we need you to do the following:

1. Check Video Clip Files
We need all original video clip files (rushes). All video clip files uploaded must be:

2. Prepare Releases
A Model Release form must be completed and signed by each person who appears in each clip.  This must be done according to our Model Release requirements. All private homes and property, inside and out, require completed property releases. Also, interiors and exteriors of commercial buildings require a property release if the footage makes the business recognizable. We also need a property release for artwork and other property. We need a separate property release for each property. You can find a blank property release form here. Releases need to be scanned with at least 200 ppi and sent as .jpg files. All information must be completely legible on all releases.

3. Complete our Video Clip Details Form
Please complete all fields and provide specific information for each location, subject, activity, etc.

4. Upload Video Clip Files and Forms
You will be given login info for the Footage Manager™ section of our website. You can then easily send all of your video files, forms and the completed purchase agreement through our own proprietary upload system. If you are submitting clips from several different videos, your original clips must be organized into the different upload folders that we will provide. If the same original clip is used in more than one video, then only upload it once.

Please DO NOT UPLOAD DUPLICATE FILENAMES or files from different folders into the same upload folder, regardless of case (upper case and lower case are the same). If you upload duplicate filenames, the first files will be replaced by the later files with the same filenames. If you have many files with duplicate filenames, you can use a utility app such as Name Mangler to batch modify the filenames. Multi-day shoots need to be uploaded into different upload folders for each day. We can create as many upload folders as you need, so please let us know if you need anymore upload folders.

After you login you should be able to simply drag and drop the files into the window. Large files can take a long time to upload, which will depend on your connection speed and the size of the file. The deadline for completing these submission guidelines is two weeks from when any login info is sent.

5. GET PAID!
As soon as the footage is accepted, we will pay you immediately by PayPal for the 100 Plan, or when sales are made with the 50/50 Plan.

Upon review of your submitted footage, we reserve the right to reject footage and withdraw any offers if the submission does not meet these Submission Guidelines.

*If footage was shown with special post-processing, grading or effects, then send both these and the original files. For time-lapse clips made from still photos, send both the video files and all photo files (in separate zipped folders for each clip). In some cases we may require footage to also be submitted in a codec compatible with our systems.
